Our family-run company offers unique cooker hoods. Each one is handcrafted with passion and care. Such a hood is a functional decoration of the kitchen in the style of Provencal, rustic, Scandinavian, country, cottage, or farmhouse. However it also perfectly fits into more modern interiors.

What is the hood made of? Are the materials durable?

The hood shell is made of a unique mass enriched with stucco mass and has multi-layered reinforcement, adding durability. The hood is most often equipped with a wooden frame. Elements in which holes can be made to mount the hood are made of wood. The absorber is mounted on waterproof plywood in white.

What is the lead time?

Whole process usually takes about 3 – 5 weeks.

What dimensions should the hood have in my kitchen?

The width of the hood should be at least the same as the width of the hob. However, optimally, the hood should be slightly wider than the hob. In the case of a 75 cm wide hob, our hood should be 90 cm. If we have a 60 cm hob, then the best solution will be a hood with a width of 75-80 cm.

Warranty and Complaints

Every absorber is new and comes with a warranty from the manufacturer. The duration of the warranty depends on the model and brand of the absorber. Complaints should be reported via e-mail.

How to clean the hood?

It is recommended to dust off, for example, with a damp cloth (including the painted motif). Do not scrub. Do not use strong detergents.

How Are COOKER Hoods Made?

Cooker hoods made from a material resembling clay are one of the unconventional but interesting solutions in interior design. The process of creating a hood can be divided into several steps.

STEP 1

Design and Planning

Initially, it is necessary to create a design for the kitchen hood, considering dimensions, style, and functions that it should fulfill. Our order form will help you consider the most important information, such as the shape of the mold, dimensions, hood color, type of wood, type of absorber, choice of delivery method.

STEP 2

evaluation (PRICING)

Each hood is priced individually based on your requirements. Factors influencing the price include:

hood dimensions
creation of a custom mold at the client's request
type and treatment of wood/handmade stucco
size and complexity of the drawing
absorber model

STEP 3

Execution of the hood or mold and hood

Upon the client's request, we make new molds. After preparing the mold, a special clay-like mass is applied. The hood is further reinforced with fibers and reinforcement. To maintain a natural appearance, the hood shell is entirely hand-polished.

STEP 4

Drying

The hoods dry under controlled conditions. Depending on the size, the hood dries from 6-10 days. Proper drying makes the hood shell more resistant to moisture and chipping.

STEP 5

Framing

There is the possibility of making a frame: from wood or stucco mass. Types of wood to choose from include pine, larch, spruce, alder, beech, ash, oak, and others. The wooden frame can be additionally sandblasted (aging effect), varnished, and waxed.

STEP 6

Painting

Each hood can have a hand-painted motif. The choice is yours, send us the inspiration. The painting is secured with a triple layer of clear resin that allows for dust wiping with a damp cloth. We send you the completed picture for approval.
